So you want to know what an interview with me would be like...
WHAT CAN YOU OFFER US THAT SOMEONE ELSE CAN NOT?
I have studied as an interdisciplinarian. As an interdisciplinarian, I am able to make connections and integrate ideas that others may not even consider. Because of this avenue of study, I have various skills like entrepreneurship, intellectual courage, and analytical skills that may be less common but no less important. Therefore, I can work to solve complex or difficult problems in a way that yields the most satisfactory results for everyone.
WHO’S YOUR MENTOR?
My mentor is the fictional character of Atticus Finch from Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird. Atticus is a lawyer with a love of reading, who loves his children, and who has a firm moral compass. This is a man motivated by honor, integrity, and justice. He does what he can to protect others, no matter the personal cost. That courage and selflessness are something I strive to emulate every day of my life.
WHAT MAKES YOU UNCOMFORTABLE?
Something that makes me wildly uncomfortable is contentment with mediocrity. I believe that we should always be working to push ourselves, to grow, learn, and develop as much as we can in this life. So, when someone decides they have had enough growth, I am uncomfortable because I do not agree with their decision at all and have a difficult time being able to understand and relate to that individual.
